A review of the movie The First Avenger by Soap2Day

And so, we finally waited for the premiere of the long-rumored film called The First Avenger, which took place at the end of July this year. All in all an action movie, fans of various comic books and fantasy are dedicated to it. I, as a lover of this genre, had a lot of fun, but as for me, there were a few flaws, but they are not important. If we talk about the special effects, they certainly impress, the movie looks amazing.

A review of the movie

The First Avenger is a story about a guy named Steve Rogers, who dreams more than anything else of doing his duty in the army and defending the country he lives in. But by coincidence, he is not taken because he himself is weak, skinny, and also has several illnesses. In general, the request is rejected and is not negotiable. But apparently Steve was born under a lucky star, there was a doctor who invited him to take part in a dubious experiment, thanks to which he got another chance. Now he's a tough soldier who's taken the alias Captain America and fights the bad guys in the Hydra organization run by the Red Skull.

You can watch The First Avenger for free on HD on Soap2Day.

Though the plot is corny, but the movie is pretty interesting, I personally really liked the music selection, and of course the acting. Chris Evans (main character) played great, also Tommy Lee Jones was not bad. I advise to watch and enjoy this movie, I think you will be satisfied with it, at least you won't waste your time, as it often happens with modern films! Actually, in the beginning I had no particular desire to watch this picture. I didn't want to come across the "sugary patriotism" that American "masterpieces of cinema" have been so full of lately. After all, American war movies are pretty controversial. But luckily, Captain America: The First Avenger lived up to my best expectations. I ended up with a pretty good comic book movie with a PG-13 rating (not bad, considering the genre) and a World War II setting.

Of course, by showing up on cinemas in modern 3D, The First Avenger did not discover America and brought nothing new to the genre, but it gave us two hours of absorbing action with a wonderful performance by Chris Evans and not the worst lines by Stanley Tucci, Tommy Lee Jones and Hugo Weaving. What's more, Captain America: The First Avenger even shows a moral about the real value of strength and humanity, despite the war effort. And it cannot help but please. To the disadvantages of the movie we can refer some implausible moments, in which even John Rambo would not cope. But it all remains on the conscience of the screenwriters. The movie fulfilled its task of entertaining quite acceptably. In general, the picture leaves positive impressions. The film did not come out just a cheap farce to launder the money from the simple audience and fans. Such a film is best seen with friends. And still, if the movie touched upon the Second World War, it would be nice to add a little more tragicism and less computer special effects to the picture.

The First Avenger is a typical Hollywood movie, with all its rules. Many movie lovers will like it. The picture has everything and the hero and love and the salvation of mankind. The movie is set in 1941, the war and America is caught up in the war. The grimness of the atmosphere of those years is conveyed. The plot is tied to the fact that the hero of the movie wants to join the army so much that he goes to any lengths to achieve his goal. Several attempts end unsuccessfully. In the end, weak rookie Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) takes part in an experiment to become a "super-soldier." To do this, a Jewish scientist and Stark Senior experiment on him with a blue liquid, and get the super result - Captain America. The hero is endowed with strength, a muscular beautiful body, and courage. But if there is a hero, then there is also a villain and a "non-hero. Hugo Weaving gets the role of the Red Skull villain. He creates a rich image of a villain, endowed with agile facial expressions, a powerful force emanating from him. But our hero, which is a hell of a lot of fun, copes with the villain.

There are plenty of jokes in the film, which makes for an interesting film. The main character is, as always, the dream of all Americans or the ideal man - a tough and muscular man. Great actors play, interesting special effects, good music by Hollywood composer Alan Silvestri - all this creates a spectacle. The First Avenger movie ends as if something else is yet to come, that this is just the beginning. This movie is one of those movies that show a model of American patriotism. So, First Avenger is a movie about a hero who is actually very human, brave, but still kind at heart.

Went to the movie together with my girlfriend to see the movie First Avenger, I will share my impressions with you: Released this year X-Men: First Class and not so long ago "Thor" made all fans of these films wait for the sequels, new comic book movies, we all still remember the resounding success of "Iron Man". I recommend to all fans of Marvel comics and animated series to watch the movie Captain America: The First Avenger, considering that lately, a lot of Marvel movies make you learn again and again about the new world of superheroes, helping the whole mankind. The movie is a little bit long, but the delightful filming with constant action will shake anyone's imagination. The main character of the movie is Steve Rogers who had a great desire to serve in the army, but because of his physical fitness and body structure he was constantly rejected. But Rogers gets lucky, he not only gets into the army, but is accepted to take part in a secret experiment to improve the physical condition of the ideal soldier.

As a result of the experiment, our hero is made into a superhero with a mountain of muscles and unique abilities possessed by a superhuman. The creators did not set out to reimagine the Captain America comics, their goal was to create a new movie with a good rating like Jon Favreau's "Iron Man". In the first half of the movie we could observe sympathy for the main character, but in the second half he did not cease to amaze and serve as an object of envy, though a fictional character from the comic books. It may be noted that the main character Chris Evans (Steve Rogers) may have had one of the best roles, which he played perfectly, as well as very good acting with Hayley Atwell (Peggy Carter) in which she played one of the interesting and touching love lines in the history of movie comics. By the way, The First Avenger though not an outstanding adaptation of one of the Marvel comics and is not a masterpiece, but worthy of watching, in the company of friends and girlfriend.
