I was at the most amazing event in Napa, CA this past weekend and wanted to share the experience.

@kathrynwalthall (of @hallwines 🍷) held her annual Cabernet Cook-Off to raise awareness for local non-profits and talented chefs.👩‍🍳I was a celebrity judge, along with @hueylewisandthenews @chefkenfrank @rajmathai. @nataliemoralestv was our awesome emcee.

The day was filled with extraordinary chef creations (I evaluated 14 different delicious entrees and sipped Jack’s Masterpiece Cabernet pairings with each #iLoveMyJob ❤️).

• Red onion⁠

• Light mayonnaise⁠
• Apple cider vinegar (or orange juice)⁠

Make this ice cream STAT🍦
• 4 large ripe bananas, peeled and frozen
• Splash of milk (almond milk, coconut milk, soy milk, or cow’s milk)
 
Break the frozen bananas into large chunks and place in the food processor. Puree the bananas until they are completely smooth and no frozen chunks remain. If the bananas are too hard to blend, add a splash of milk for easier pureeing.
 
Scoop the ice cream into small bowls and serve immediately or cover in plastic wrap and freeze. If you’re saving the ice cream for a later time, remove the bowls from the freezer about 5 minutes before serving to slightly soften.
