Chocolate-Peanut Butter Smoothie
Chocolate and peanut butter are one of those classic combinations that never gets old. Rich cocoa meets creamy, nutty goodness and somehow the result always feels a little indulgent—even when the ingredients are wholesome. This Chocolate Peanut Butter Smoothie captures that iconic duo in a chilled, creamy blend that tastes like a treat but works beautifully with breakfast or as satisfying snack.

As a dietitian, smoothies are one of my favorite ways to pack a lot of nourishment into something quick and easy. And when the drink delivers some protein, fiber, and healthy fats in one glass, it helps keep you full and energized—no mid-morning crash, no rummaging for snacks an hour later. This blend checks every box: it’s thick, chocolatey, naturally sweet, and super satisfying.

If you love smoothies as much as I do, there are so many other blends to explore on my website. My 3-Ingredient Protein Smoothie, Longevity Smoothie, Strawberry Shortcake Smoothie and Brain-Boosting Smoothie are all fantastic options when you want something refreshing, nutrient-packed, and ready in minutes. Each one offers a slightly different mix of ingredients so you can rotate flavors while still getting serious health perks!

And if the “chocolate–peanut butter” combo is what drew you in, you’re in good company—it’s one of my favorite pairings to play with in the kitchen. You’ll also love recipes like my Chocolate Peanut Butter Rice Cake Treats, Chocolate Peanut Butter Crispy Treats, Chocolate Peanut Butter Dates, Skillet Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie, and Chocolate Peanut Butter “Puppy Chow” Popcorn. We only use unsweetened almond milk. Could we substitute that and add vanilla extract and if so, how much would you recommend?
