Pumpkin Pie Shots
Say hello to my Pumpkin Pie Shots, a seasonal treat that’s as adorable as it is delicious. These petite gems capture the essence of the season with a healthy base made from smooth vanilla yogurt blended with rich pumpkin purée. This combination not only offers a creamy and indulgent texture but also adds a nutritious touch to your festive dessert spread.

The pumpkin pudding base is then layered with crushed graham crackers, providing a subtle crunch that sort of mimics the pie crust we all love in a traditional pumpkin pie. Top off your mini creations with a fluffy squirt of whipped topping and a sprinkling of mini chocolate chips. These beauties provide a perfect ending to a wintery dinner feast.

Why I ❤️ This Recipe: My Pumpkin Pie Shots are not just adorable single-serve delights; they’re a scrumptious and healthy way to savor all the cozy flavors of fall—especially one of autumn’s favorite desserts! Crafted with wholesome ingredients, these shots are bursting with the goodness of pumpkin, a powerhouse of beta-carotene, fiber, and antioxidants. Perfect for those looking to enjoy a yummy sweet treat for endless seasonal celebrations.
I can’t get enough of creating “dessert shots” because, let’s be honest—everything just tastes better in a shot glass! While you don’t have to use one, the celebratory flair they add brings a delightful pizzazz to any dessert. Plus, they’re super easy to whip up and serve, making them perfect for any gathering! I love preparing my Apple Pie Shots, Banana Cream Pie Shots, and Eggnog Pudding Shots. Sometimes, I like to make a few batches of each so partygoers can enjoy all their favorite pies in perfectly portioned form.

I absolutely love experimenting with different flavors! Recently, I whipped up a mashup of Banana Cream Pie and Pumpkin Pie—Banana Pumpkin Pudding—and OMG, it’s seriously delicious! It’s the perfect solution for those moments when you just can’t choose a favorite. Trust me, this dreamy combo will satisfy your cravings for both pies in one irresistible bite!

Going to try this. What size shot glass does this recipe call for? Apparently, there are variations. Thanks
Hi Jean! Joy used standard shot glasses for these pictures (1.5oz)… BUT she has also served them in double shot glass size (3oz) and they were gobbled up and looked great! If you’re using the 1.5 oz, you’ll get ~10-12 from the recipe as is, so note that if you choose the 3 oz you’ll get ~5-6 from the 1x recipe. Enjoy! — Eliza (Team Joy)
Can these be made in advance?
Hi Donna! Joy says that just the pudding part can be made in advance. She doesn’t recommend starting to build them because she doesn’t want the grahams to get soggy and the whipped cream to sink!— Eliza (Team Joy)
