I’m obsessed with this recipe—it’s like having a frozen candy bar that’s layered with creamy banana, peanut butter, and a snappy chocolate coating, all topped off with the delightful crunch of peanuts. Is your mouth watering yet?

Sliced bananas topped with chocolate spread and chopped peanuts are arranged on a parchment surface, creating a tempting Frozen Banana Snickers treat. A spoon with chocolate and a whole banana are visible in the background.

There’s something undeniably comforting about opening the freezer and finding a container of homemade treats waiting for you. These banana bites are familiar enough to remind you of childhood candy bars, but with a frozen, homemade touch that feels a little more special and a whole lot healthier! They’re the kind of treat you’ll want to share with friends… but also the kind you’ll want to keep all to yourself. (Trust me)

Peanut butter and chocolate—it’s one of the world’s greatest love stories. And when you bring frozen bananas into the mix, you’ve got a trifecta of sweet, creamy, crunchy bliss. These little gems are my go-to when I want something fun, frosty, and chocolatey without grabbing an actual candy bar or ice cream pop.

Plus, you can totally riff on them. Go with almond or cashew butter and dark chocolate for a fancy vibe, swirl in a little caramel if you’re feeling extra sweet, or toss on shredded coconut for a tropical touch.

I’ve been making frozen banana desserts for years (everything from banana “ice cream” to chocolate-dipped bites), but what I love most about these is the balance of fun and function. They’re quick to throw together, freezer-friendly, and portioned into little bites, which makes them perfect for after-school snacks, late-night cravings, or even a sweet pick-me-up between meetings.
