You will most definitely go bananas over this sweet little recipe—it’s playful, simple, and seriously delicious!

These gems feature creamy banana slices topped with berry-flavored Greek yogurt and finished with a peanut butter drizzle before heading to the freezer. After a quick chill, they transform into frosty ice cream-like bites!

And if you love frozen bananas like I do, I’ve got plenty more fun spins: my Chocolate-Covered Bananas are always a hit, and my Banana “Snickers” deliver candy-bar vibes.

Step 1: Peel and slice the banana into ¼-inch rounds (with my trusty chef’s knife!).
Step 2: Place banana slices on a lined baking sheet or plate, and top each with yogurt.
Step 3: Drizzle the melted peanut butter in zigzags over the yogurt-topped bananas.
Step 4: Freeze for at least 2 hours and enjoy!

Frozen Yogurt Banana Bites

A nourishing frozen snack made with banana, yogurt, and peanut butter—sweet tooth approved!
Yield: 15 pieces
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Total Time: 2 hours 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 medium banana, peeled and sliced into ¼-inch wheels (~15 pieces)
  • 2 tablespoons berry-flavored Greek yogurt, nonfat or 2% low-fat*
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter, melted**

Instructions

  • Line a baking sheet or plate with parchment paper and add banana slices. Add a spread of yogurt on top of each slice. Using a spoon, create zigzag drizzles with melty peanut butter over each banana bite.
  • Stash in the freezer for at least 2 hours to freeze. Transfer to a freezer bag or container to free up space, and enjoy whenever you have a sweet craving!

Notes

* I like to use brands sweetened with stevia or monkfruit, such as Oikos Triple Zero, Oikos Pro, or Too Good.
**Add peanut butter to a small microwave ramekin and microwave for about 30 seconds to get it liquidy so you can easily drizzle with a spoon.
• When you first take them out of the freezer, let them thaw slightly for a minute or so before enjoying. They’ll soften up and become creamy, and you’ll be less likely to hurt your teeth biting into them.
