Frozen Banana Bites

You will most definitely go bananas over this super simple and totally sweet recipe.
Servings: 15 pieces
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Total Time: 2 hours 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 medium banana, peeled and sliced into ΒΌ-inch wheels (~15 pieces)
  • 2 tablespoons berry-flavored Greek yogurt, nonfat or 2% low-fat*
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter, melted**

Instructions

  • Line a baking sheet or plate with parchment paper and add banana slices. Add a spread of yogurt on top of each slice. Using a spoon, create zigzag drizzles with melty peanut butter over each banana bite.
  • Stash in the freezer for at least 2 hours to freeze. Transfer to a freezer bag or container to free up space, and enjoy whenever you have a sweet craving!

Notes

* I like to use brands sweetened with stevia or monkfruit, such as Oikos Triple Zero, Oikos Pro, or Too Good.Β
**Add peanut butter to a small microwave ramekin and microwave for about 30 seconds to get it liquidy so you can easily drizzle with a spoon.
β€’ When you first take them out of the freezer, let them thaw slightly for a minute or so before enjoying. They’ll soften up and become creamy, and you’ll be less likely to hurt your teeth biting into them.
