Cupid’s Arrow
Love is in the air and Cupid’s arrow is headed your way! These bite-sized gems are too perfect for Valentine’s Day, but they’re also fun any other day of the year. Whether you’re hosting a party, packing a lunchbox surprise, or simply celebrating with someone special, these cheesy bows are sure to be love at first bite.

Why you’ll love this recipe:
- Adorably cheesy (pun intended): Perfect for Valentine’s Day, anniversaries, or any occasion where you want to add a heartfelt touch.
- Simple yet show-stopping: Minimal ingredients, quick assembly, and an impressive presentation that steals the spotlight.
- A perfect pair: It’s a fresh, nutrient-packed combo that’s rich in protein, calcium, and antioxidants.
- Fun for all ages: A hands-on snack-tivity that kids and adults can enjoy making and munching on together.
Sweet, juicy cherry tomatoes paired with salty, savory cheese is always a sure thing in my book. Plus, these gems are naturally low in carbs and gluten-free. They’re also filled with protein and antioxidants, and make for a colorful addition to any party platter or romantic dinner spread. And while cutting the small bow-and-arrow shapes will take a few extra minutes, it’s worth the effort (“honey, these are sooo cool!”). Make ‘em for all your sweeties and spread the power of love. ❤

As a dietitian and foodie, I’m here to tell you that cheese and tomato are couple goals! It’s a simple yet powerful duo that nourishes your body while delighting your taste buds—truly a snack that loves you back in every way!

Cupid’s Arrow
Ingredients
- 10 cherry tomatoes, oblong
- ½ block cheddar cheese
- 10 toothpicks
Instructions
- Cut a cherry tomato on the diagonal, and connect the flat (cut) edges to form a heart. Cut the rest of the tomatoes in a similar fashion.
- Slice the block of cheese in half (length-wise) creating two 1-inch thick chunks. Using the pictures above as your reference, cut ten pieces in the shape of a chevron arrow (back of arrow) and ten pieces in the shape of the front tip (small triangles).
- To assemble kebabs, slide the back-of-arrow cheese pieces to the bottom of each toothpick, followed by your sliced cherry tomato heart, and triangular cheese arrowhead.
