Introducing my Chocolate Strawberry Clusters! These playful treats showcase freshly sliced strawberries, perfectly coated in melted chocolate, and embellished with a sprinkle of coconut and a dash of salt. After a brief chill in the freezer, the chocolate transforms into a magic shell, creating a scrumptious handheld indulgence. Each bite delivers a decadent blend of snappy chocolate with a burst of juicy sweet strawberries… it’s a blissful combination!

This recipe makes 8-16 clusters
  • • 1 cup semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips, melted
  • • 5 to 10 large strawberries
  • • ¼ cup shredded coconut*
  • • Coarse salt, optional

*I use sweetened since there’s only a teaspoon on each cluster, but unsweetened works well too.

Line a platter or baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.

Cut off the strawberry stems and slice each berry from top to bottom (you’ll get about 4 to 5 slices per strawberry). Using three strawberry slices, create clusters. Dollop a tablespoon of melted chocolate in the center of each strawberry cluster. Sprinkle on shredded coconut and a light sprinkling of optional salt.

Place the clusters in the freezer for at least 20 minutes, or until chocolate is set. Transfer into a storage bag and stash in the freezer for future treats!
