Each bite of this no-bake snack delivers a decadent blend of snappy chocolate with a burst of juicy sweet strawberries… it’s a blissful combination!
Yield: 8clusters
Prep Time: 10 minutesmins
Total Time: 30 minutesmins
Ingredients
1cupsemi-sweet or dark chocolate chips, melted
5 to 10large strawberries
¼cupshredded coconut*
Coarse salt, optional
Instructions
Line a platter or baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
Cut off the strawberry stems and slice each berry from top to bottom (you’ll get about 4 to 5 slices per strawberry). Using three strawberry slices, create clusters.
Dollop a tablespoon of melted chocolate in the center of each strawberry cluster. Sprinkle on shredded coconut and a light sprinkling of optional salt.
Place the clusters in the freezer for at least 20 minutes, or until chocolate is set. Transfer into a storage bag and stash in the freezer for future treats!
Notes
*I use sweetened since there’s only a teaspoon on each cluster, but unsweetened works well too. This recipe contains coconut. As of January 2025, coconut was formally removed from the FDA’s list of major allergens. We now exclude it from our nut category. If you have a nut allergy and are unsure about coconut, please consult your physician before consuming.
