Attention chocolate lovers: This indulgent recipe may be the easiest and tastiest way to satisfy your cravings!

Simply melt chocolate chips in the microwave and form small circles on a parchment-lined baking tray. Then top with sweet pomegranate seeds and crunchy crushed pistachios for an irresistible flavor experience. I also like to sprinkle on coarse sea salt for an extra pop of magic.

Inspired by the festive chocolate coins my mom serves during Passover, these treats come with a nutritious twist. They’re absolutely priceless! 😉

Make them ahead for whenever you need a chocolate fix—and stash them in the fridge or freezer to keep them fresh and firm. Then enjoy one or two when a craving calls, or serve up a big batch for your next get-together.

Chocolate Melts

Attention chocolate lovers: This indulgent recipe may be the easiest and tastiest way to satisfy your cravings!
Servings: 20 melts
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients

  • ½ cup chocolate chips, melted
  • 2 tablespoons pomegranate arils
  • 2 tablespoons crushed pistachios
  • Sea salt, optional

Instructions

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, dollop about a teaspoon of melted chocolate and swirl each into a small circular shape—at least the size of a quarter.
  • Decorate with pomegranate arils, chopped pistachios, and a sprinkling of sea salt before putting them in the freezer to harden for a few hours.

Notes

• To melt the chocolate chips in the microwave, heat it in 20 to 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval until the chocolate is smooth and velvety. Be sure to go slowly to avoid burning the chocolate. Alternatively, you can use a double boiler.
• Here’s a tip to make cleaning your chocolate bowl easier: Mist the inside of your bowl with nonstick oil spray before adding your chocolate chips (pre-microwave). This makes it easier to remove the leftover adhered chocolate when washing out your bowl.
• If you’re following a gluten-free diet, be sure to carefully read the packaging for each ingredient. While these foods are inherently gluten-free, gluten can sometimes be added during processing for a variety of reasons, including for flavor and consistency.
• If you’re following a dairy-free diet, ensure chocolate you’re using is dairy-free.
