Caesar dressing is more than just a salad dressing—in my house, it doubles as a sandwich spread, veggie dipper, delicious marinade, and chilled pasta salad sauce. It’s creamy and tangy, helping to elevate the flavor of whatever food you add it to.

Why you’ll love this recipe:

  • Creamy & Luscious: Avocado gives this dressing a silky-smooth texture without the need for heavy dairy or mayo.
  • Packed with Nutrients: Avocados bring fiber, potassium, and healthy monounsaturated fats to the mix.
  • Super flavorful: Classic Caesar deliciousness with lemon juice, garlic, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and optional anchovy paste to provide that signature taste.
  • Versatile: Perfect as a salad dressing, sandwich spread, or dip for veggies and roasted potatoes.
Step 1: Place all ingredients in a food processor or powerful blender.
Step 2: Process until smooth and silky.

I had to try my hand at giving the classic a healthy spin—I did so by adding a true superfood: avocado. It adds a dose of healthy fats, vitamins and minerals as well as a velvety texture. (not to mention a green hue, ha). This homemade version is a breeze to make; simply toss all ingredients in a blender and it’s ready to enjoy! Plus, it’s healthier and tastier than bottled versions, so you can feel good about drizzling, dunking and devouring.

This Avocado Caesar Dressing is the ultimate kitchen staple because it pairs perfectly with so many dishes. For a quick and yummy meal, use it as the star of a Chicken Caesar Wrap—just toss grilled chicken, crisp romaine, and parmesan in the dressing, then wrap it all up in a whole-grain tortilla. You can also try this Caprese Caesar Wrap, by layering fresh mozzarella, juicy tomatoes, and basil with a drizzle of the creamy dressing for a tasty fusion of flavors.

It also works wonders in a Caesar Pasta Salad, coating al dente penne, romaine lettuce, and toasted pecans with its tangy, garlicky green goodness. And one more idea: If you’re craving a hearty, nourishing meal, drizzle it over my Harvest Bowl filled with leafy greens, roasted veggies, whole grains, and so much more. However you enjoy it, this dressing adds the perfect touch to any meal!
