Air Fryer Mushrooms

These air fryer mushrooms make for a perfectly chewy, earthy, satisfying snack.
Servings: 4 servings
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients
 

  • 1 pound button mushrooms, sliced in halves or quarters*
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons reduced-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce, optional, if you love heat
  • *Do not cut in very small pieces or they’ll fall through the basket holes.

Instructions
 

  • Mist basket with nonstick oil spray, and set at 375˚.
  • Rinse mushrooms and pat dry. Add to a mixing bowl and toss with olive oil, soy sauce, garlic powder and sriracha, if using, to evenly coat them.
  • Add mushrooms to the bottom of air fryer basket, close drawer and cook for 15 minutes, tossing them a few times while they cook to ensure they brown evenly.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with optional scallions.
