Cool, creamy, and packed with fresh, zesty goodness—this homemade tzatziki sauce is a breeze to prep!

Why you’ll love this recipe:

  • Super easy to make: No complicated steps, no fancy equipment—just a handful of fresh ingredients stirred together in one bowl.
  • Elevates any meal: Turns simple grilled chicken, roasted veggies, baked potatoes, or even burgers and sammies into something special.
  • Restaurant-worthy at home: Skip the takeout! This tzatziki tastes just like the kind you’d get at your local Greek restaurant.
  • Great for meal prep: Stays fresh in the fridge for days, so you’ll always have a fun, flavorful, healthy sauce on hand.
Step 1: Mix all of the ingredients in a medium bowl.
Step 2: Refrigerate until ready to serve.

This sauce pairs perfectly with just about anything! Whether you’re dolloping it over grilled chicken or salmon, served alongside (or on top of) baked potatoes, loading it into a warm pita with a yummy Greek Burger, or using it as a dip for crisp veggies, this Greek classic adds a burst of Mediterranean flare to any dish. Made with thick, tangy Greek yogurt, cucumber, garlic, and a hint of lemon, it’s refreshing and light while delivering major flavor.

I’ve always been a huge fan of Greek yogurt—it’s thick, rich, and incredibly satisfying. Not only does it bring a velvety texture to tzatziki, but it also adds protein and calcium. I use it in everything from smoothies to baked goods… and this sauce!
