Happy Passover! It’s out with the bread and in with this OMG good health-ified Nutella spread on matzah. This version of the chocolate-hazelnut beloved classic delivers a similar indulgent flavor but with fewer calories and less sugar. If you don’t eat legumes on Passover, swap the peanut butter for an alternative nut or seed butter.

- • ¼ cup creamy peanut butter
- • 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
- • 3 tablespoons sugar
- • Pinch of salt
- • 3 tablespoons water
- • ½ slice whole wheat matzah
Soften ¼ cup peanut butter in microwave (about 30 seconds) and then stir in 3 tablespoons cocoa powder, 3 tablespoons sugar, a pinch of salt and 3 tablespoons of water. Mix until smooth, well-blended, and creamy. It will thicken over time.
Top your whole wheat matzah with 2 tablespoons of Chocolate PB Spread and layer with fruit.
