Chocolate PB Spread on Matzah
Happy Passover! It’s out with the bread and in with this OMG good health-ified Nutella spread on matzah.
This version of the chocolate-hazelnut beloved classic delivers a similar indulgent flavor but with fewer calories and less sugar. If you don’t eat legumes on Passover, swap the peanut butter for an alternative nut or seed butter.

Chocolate PB Spread on Matzah
Happy Passover! It’s out with the bread and in with this OMG good health-ified Nutella spread on matzah.
Ingredients
- ¼ cup creamy peanut butter
- 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- Pinch of salt
- 3 tablespoons water
- ½ slice whole wheat matzah
Instructions
- Soften ¼ cup peanut butter in microwave (about 30 seconds) and then stir in 3 tablespoons cocoa powder, 3 tablespoons sugar, a pinch of salt and 3 tablespoons of water. Mix until smooth, well-blended, and creamy. It will thicken over time.
- Top your whole wheat matzah with 2 tablespoons of Chocolate PB Spread and layer with fruit.
