Green Goddess Dressing
This green is the queen! It’s a cinch to prep (just toss a handful of simple ingredients into the blender and puree), and be prepared for love at first bite thanks to its tangy, fresh flavor and eye-catching green color.

The signature hue is created by a delicious combo of avocado, which lends earthy creaminess, as well as lots of fresh basil, which adds a bright, herbaceous note. You can easily adjust the consistency of this dressing by adding a bit more (or less) water. With this blessing of a dressing, you’ll see how easy it is being—and eating—green!

Green Goddess Dressing
Ingredients
- 1 ripe avocado, flesh
- ½ cup fresh basil leaves
- 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- ½ to ¾ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¾ teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
- ¾ cup water
Instructions
- Place all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste. For a thinner consistency, add extra water 1 tablespoon at a time until you reach desired texture.
- Store in fridge in an airtight container for 3 to 4 days and add a little squeeze of lemon juice after each use to keep the avocado fresh.
