You’ll go crazy for these kernels, which are seasoned to perfection without adding salt (highly unusual for popcorn and a really nice perk). The lime brings freshness and brightness, but there’s a surprisingly spicy finish from the Dash Fiesta Lime salt-free seasoning blend. Enjoy a bowl for an at-home movie night or while watching a ballgame. When you’re choosing your cheese, it’s best to go dry and slightly salty. Cotija, often referred to as Mexican Parm, is a good pick. I also like Pecorino, which pairs well with the lime and spice. The lime zest is optional, but I highly recommend it because it takes this popcorn over the top.

This recipe makes about 12 cups (3 cups/serving)
  • • 12 cups light popcorn (air-popped or store-bought)
  • • 4 to 6 teaspoons DASH salt-free Fiesta Lime or DASH Spicy Jalapeño
  • • 2 to 3 tablespoons pecorino or cotija, finely grated
  • • Freshly grated lime zest (optional)

Spread popcorn out on a baking sheet and mist with olive oil spray until well coated. Sprinkle Dash seasoning evenly over the popcorn. Mist popcorn again, and sprinkle with cheese and optional lime zest. Serve immediately.
