Egg in a Nest

Talk about a fun (and delicious) way to rise ‘n shine. Cook up this recipe for a guaranteed kid-approved breakfast.

Ingredients
 

  • 1 egg
  • 1 slice of whole grain toast

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 425° F and coat baking sheet with oil spray. Using a fun shaped cookie cutter, make a hole in the middle of the slice of bread and place bread on baking sheet. Bake for a few minute, until bread is lightly toasted.
  • Then, carefully crack an egg into the center and bake it for another ten minutes, or until the whites are set.
