Easiest Egg n’ Cheese in a Mug

No stovetop, no time, no problem! If you have a mug and microwave, then you’ll have a delicious, protein-packed breakfast ready in 2 minutes.

Total Time: 2 minutes

Ingredients
 

  • 1 egg
  • 3 egg whites
  • 2 tablespoons shredded reduced-fat cheese
  • Optional dash of any of the following: Kosher salt, pepper, paprika, fresh chives, hot sauce, garlic powder, and any other fresh herbs

Instructions
 

  • Mist an oversized mug with nonstick cooking spray, add the egg and egg whites and whisk.
  • Microwave for 45 seconds, remove from microwave, add cheese and optional seasonings, then gently stir. Microwave for another 45 TO 60 seconds, remove from microwave. Grab a fork and dig in.
