I know cottage cheese can be polarizing—I looove it, Ian hates it. If you’re on the fence like my husband, let me assure you that you cannot taste the cottage cheese in this flavorful dip. However, you can also swap the cottage cheese for part-skim ricotta if that sounds like a better option. You can also lower the heat by omitting the ground cayenne… or dial it wayyyy up by adding more. Oh, and any favorite hot sauce will work!

Buffalo Cottage Cheese Dip

Ingredients
 

  • 1 cup low-fat cottage cheese
  • ½ cup nonfat or low-fat plain Greek yogurt
  • 3 tablespoons hot sauce
  • 2 ¼ teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper, or more to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground pepper

  • Add all the ingredients to a high-speed blender or food processor and blend until smooth and creamy.
