There are so many creative and delicious ways to add flavor to air-popped popcorn. This version gives the healthy snack a touch of tangy sweetness, making it a great stand-in for caramel popcorn.
Feel free to add flavorful seasonings to plain balsamic vinegar (like cinnamon, allspice, pumpkin pie spice, and so on), or try various flavored vinegars.

- 1 tablespoon good-quality, thick, aged balsamic vinegar (or a thinner balsamic vinegar, reduced)
- 4 cups light popcorn (air-popped or any store-bought light brand)
Drizzle 1 to 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar over the top of popcorn. (Or reduce 4 tablespoons of thinner balsamic vinegar by bringing to a boil over medium heat, then lowering heat to a simmer for 2 to 4 minutes, until it thickens. Drizzle over popcorn.)
