Balsamic Popcorn
There are so many creative and delicious ways to add flavor to air-popped popcorn. This version gives the healthy snack a touch of tangy sweetness, making it a great stand-in for caramel popcorn.

Feel free to add flavorful seasonings to plain balsamic vinegar (like cinnamon, allspice, pumpkin pie spice, and so on), or try various flavored vinegars.

Balsamic Popcorn
This version gives the healthy snack a touch of tangy sweetness, making it a great stand-in for caramel popcorn.
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon good-quality, thick, aged balsamic vinegar (or a thinner balsamic vinegar, reduced)
- 4 cups light popcorn, air-popped or any store-bought light brand
Instructions
- Drizzle 1 to 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar over the top of popcorn.
- (Or reduce 4 tablespoons of thinner balsamic vinegar by bringing to a boil over medium heat, then lowering heat to a simmer for 2 to 4 minutes, until it thickens. Drizzle over popcorn.)
