Chocolate-Peanut Butter Love Platter
When it comes to Valentine’s Day, nothing says “I love you” like a decadent treat that’s as delightful to share as it is to savor. Enter this chocolatey peanut butter love dip surrounded by fresh fruit for the ultimate Valentine’s dessert spread. ❤️

This creamy chocolate-peanut buttery dip will make your heart flutter. It’s a joyful spin on Nutella, equally indulgent but with less sugar, so you can spread the love generously!
As a dietitian, I’ll admit—I’ve always had a soft spot for Nutella (who doesn’t?!), but I wanted to create something just as rich and satisfying with a healthier twist. This recipe lets you enjoy all the chocolatey, nutty goodness you love, but with far less sugar. Perfect for dipping your favorite fresh fruits, it’s a wonderful sweet treat to share with your special someone… or for enjoying solo because you totally deserve it.

Why you’ll love this recipe:
- Quick & easy: Ready in just a few minutes with simple pantry staples.
- Healthier indulgence: A smooth and velvety dip with far less sugar than traditional chocolate spreads.
- Festive & fun: Perfect for Valentine’s Day gatherings, cozy movie nights, or spontaneous sweet cravings.
- Share the love: A delicious indulgence meant to be enjoyed together. Although, no judgement for not sharing. 😉
This dessert bowl is more than just a pretty face—it’s the perfect combination of chocolatey goodness and peanut buttery richness, balanced with the natural sweetness and juicy burst of fresh fruit. Whether you’re planning a romantic date night with a soulmate, a cozy movie marathon with your favorite rom-coms, or a festive Galentine’s gathering filled with laughter and treats, this dip is guaranteed to be the star of your snack spread.

What makes this bowl even more special is how customizable it is. Add a handful of mini chocolate chips for extra indulgence, sprinkle on some colorful sweetheart candies for a playful pop, or top with an extra drizzle of melty peanut butter (or finely chopped nuts) for pizzazz!

- Pinch salt
- 3 tablespoons water
- Fruit of choice like strawberries, bananas, apples

Are you using all natural peanut butter or supermarket name brands? Salted or unsalted? Thank you.
Hi Mary, thanks for your question! Joy uses natural salted peanut butter for the recipe, but any type of creamy peanut butter or brand will work—it doesn’t have to be natural peanut butter. Hoping you love it as much as we do! Please let us know what you think.

can In use almond butter form this recipe. Thank you
Hi Josie, yes you can use almond butter in this recipe! Just be sure to really stir it and get it smooth. You may want to microwave it first to soften it up before measuring and adding in with the other ingredients. Please let us know what you think if you decide to try it—we’d love to hear your thoughts!
