If you’re a fan of poached eggs, then this easy recipe is for you! By simply adding a dash of ground turmeric, the egg gets a beautiful golden hue. And the end result is a delicious morning meal that’s packed with protein, nutrients and anti-inflammatory properties.

This recipe makes 1 serving
  • 1/2 teaspoons ground turmeric
  • 3 tablespoons white vinegar
  • dash of ground black pepper



Simmer a pot of water on the stove, then add the turmeric and white vinegar. Crack an egg into a small bowl and then carefully transfer the egg into the pot of water. Let the egg poach for about 3 to 5 minutes.

Then, use a slotted spoon to gently lift the egg and carefully place it on a plate. Sprinkle with a dash of ground black pepper and enjoy!
