Thanksgiving Strawberries

Gobble, gobble, gobble. If you’re looking for a festive, delicious, and adorable dessert this Thanksgiving, look no further. 
Yield: 5 strawberries
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Chill Time: 1 hour
Total Time: 1 hour 10 minutes

Ingredients
 

  • 5 large strawberries, green stems intact
  • 10 blueberries
  • ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips*
  • 5 thin pretzel sticks, broken in half

*If making vegan, choose dairy-free chocolate

Instructions
 

  • Wash strawberries and blueberries, and pat dry. Place a blueberry on either side of the strawberry and pierce with a pretzel stick to hold in place.
  • Add chocolate to a microwave-safe bowl and microwave for 20-second intervals, stopping and stirring between, until the chocolate is fully melted and velvety smooth. Cover each strawberry in melted chocolate (using a pastry brush or spoon) and place on a plate. Freeze for at least 45 minutes until the chocolate is firm.
