Out-of-the-Jar Peanut Butter Dressing

By adding a few simple ingredients, you can effortlessly transform this overlooked goodness into a delectable, heart-healthy sauce or dressing that elevates salads, bowls, pasta, and dipping experiences to new heights.
Servings: 5 tablespoons
Prep Time: 3 minutes
Total Time: 3 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 Tablespoons peanut butter, scrape the sides!*
  • 1.5 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 1.5 teaspoons fresh lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon Sriracha, optional for mild heat (more for extra heat!)
  • 1-3 Tablespoons water**
  • * You can swap in tahini or almond butter
  • ** Start with 1 Tablespoon and add more water, one Tablespoon at a time, until you hit desired consistency

Instructions

  • Add soy sauce, lime juice, and Sriracha into empty peanut butter jar, and scrape down the sides to collect as much leftover peanut butter as possible and mix it all together. It’ll start out stringy but soon comes together into a thick nut buttery paste.
  • Add water one tablespoon at a time, stirring after each until you create your desired consistency. Add more Sriracha for a fiery kick!
