These fun popcorn “balls” are great to make with your kids! I use air popped popcorn for the whole grain factor, mix it into melted marshmallows before adding in chopped pecans and chocolate chips, and rolling them into fun-size treats. Give it a try!

This recipe makes 8 Servings
  • 1 tablespoon whipped butter
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 5 cups air-popped popcorn (can use store bought, or pop approximately 1/4 cup kernels in air popper)
  • 1/3 cup semi-sweet (or dark) chocolate chips
  • 1/3 cup chopped pecans (optional)

Melt whipped butter in large saucepan over low heat.

Add mini marshmallows and stir until completely melted.

Remove from heat. Stir in air-popped popcorn, semi-sweet chocolate chips (they will partially melt), and optional chopped pecans.

Combine well, then form into 3-inch balls. Enjoy!


Note: Each serving is 100 calories without the pecans, and 125 calories with the pecans added.
