Attention mint lovers: You’re just 5 ingredients—and 5 minutes—away from making an indulgent dairy-free shake that’s thick and creamy…chocolaty and minty. This blended beverage is magically delicious without a drop of added sugar.  Just be sure to go easy on the peppermint extract because it’s super strong.

This recipe makes 2 servings
Ingredients:
  • 2 bananas, peeled and frozen
  • ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder 
  • ½ to ¾ cup almond milk (or any milk of choice)
  • 1 drop mint extract (it’s very strong so just add a tiny drop)
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup ice cubes
  • Optional garnish: aerated whipped cream, mint leaves, cocoa powder
Preparation:

Add all ingredients to a blender and process until smooth and frothy. Feel free to add a splash of extra milk (and stir the contents) if you have trouble blending. Pour into a glass and garnish with optional whipped topping, mint leaves and a dash of cocoa powder.
