If you have fond memories of guzzling down a sugary-sweet slushy as a young kid, then I’ve got some fabulous news: I created a refreshing version made with only good-for-you ingredients that contains absolutely no added sugar.
Yield: 2servings
Prep Time: 5 minutesmins
Total Time: 5 minutesmins
Ingredients
2cupsfrozen pitted sweet cherries
½cupfrozen pineapple
1cupcherry or berry flavored sparkling water
1cupcrushed ice or ice cubes
Instructions
Place all ingredients in blender, and blend until thick and slushy. (Note: If the cherries and pineapple are frozen solid, you may need to stop, loosen up the contents with a spoon and stir a few times while it blends.)
Add additional sparkling water or ice as needed to achieve desired slushy consistency.
Notes
• For a berry-flavored spin, you can use frozen berries (raspberries and blueberries) and berry-flavored sparkling water. Try my Raspberry Blueberry Slushy.
