This slushy is a wonderful blend of tart and refreshing, delivering a nice fruity flavor without being overly sweet. The frozen strawberries and sliced peach provide juiciness, a gentle and natural sweetness and lots of vitamins and fiber. If you like your slushy on the sweeter side, you may decide to stir in the optional honey or maple syrup.

I love to enjoy this treat on a warm, summer day for a quick cooldown on the porch or by the pool, but truthfully, it makes a satisfying beverage any time of year—as an after school or post-workout snack or for a fun beverage during family game nights, outdoor picnics or even a weekend brunch.
