I call these treats my “Purple Turtles,” and you only need two ingredients to make a batch. (They’re not lookers, but they ARE tasters!) Just imagine biting into a delicious piece of chocolate filled with juicy pops of blueberry heaven. I know. 😉

RECIPE NOTE:

• Melt the chocolate chips using a double boiler or in the microwave. For the microwave method: stop and stir every 20 seconds until they are velvety smooth (~2 minutes total). *LIFE-CHANGING HACK* To make cleanup easier, mist your microwave-safe bowl with oil spray before adding your chocolate chips. The leftover chocolate will scrape off the bowl more seamlessly in the sink.

This recipe makes 26 clusters
Ingredients:
  • • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted*
  • • 2 cups fresh blueberries, patted dry

*Can also use sugar-free baking chips like ChocZero Chocolate Chips

Preparation:

Add berries into melted chocolate and stir to combine (the chocolate will thicken, so mix it up as quickly as possibly).

Place heaping tablespoons of chocolate-blueberry mixture on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. (You can use your fingers to shape them, just dip in water so they don’t stick).

Place in fridge or freezer for about 30 minutes to firm chocolate. Once chocolate is firm, transfer to a storage bag or container with lid to free up space. You can store them in the refrigerator (the chocolate remains firm and berries stay soft and juicy) or in the freezer (the chocolate and berries freeze, which creates a wonderful snappy texture if you love frozen treats).

Nutrition provided for one cluster.
