Yield: 12servings
Prep Time: 5 minutesmins
Cook Time: 5 minutesmins
Total Time: 10 minutesmins
Ingredients
4large apples, or 6 to 8 medium, cored and sliced*
¼cupnut butter
⅓cupsemi-sweet or dark chocolate chips
2 to 4tablespoonsdried cranberries or cherries
2 to 4tablespoonsshredded coconut
2 to 4tablespoonsgranola
2 to 4tablespoonschopped, toasted nuts or seeds, optional
Instructions
Gently pat apple slices with a paper towel to dry them off and spread them out in a single layer on baking sheet. (I use 4 large apples to fill a half baking sheet, about ~17 x 13 inches).
Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave: Stop and stir every 20 seconds until velvety smooth (~2 minutes total). And soften the nut butter in the microwave for about 30 seconds, so it’s drizzle-friendly.
Starting with the nut butter, drizzle thin zig-zags over the tops of the sliced apples. Next do the same with the melted chocolate. Finally, sprinkle on the cranberries, coconut, granola and optional nuts or seeds. Dig in!
Notes
* You can use any favorite apple variety. You can also change up the amount of apples and toppings depending on the size of your baking sheet. A smaller sheet will require less..
