FrankenLIME Mocktail

This mocktail was born while I was experimenting with Key Lime LaCroix and matcha powder. Oh, it happened to be right before Halloween, thus the monster spin, haha.  
Yield: 1 serving
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Total Time: 3 hours 5 minutes

Ingredients
 

  • 2 to 4 ounces lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon matcha powder
  • 2 to 4 Tablespoons boiling water
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 can LaCroix Key Lime Sparkling Water
  • Lime slices, plastic eyeballs for garnish, optional

Instructions
 

  • Pour lime juice into a few compartments of an ice cube tray and freeze for at least 3 hours or overnight.
  • In a small bowl, add matcha powder with boiling water, and stir until matcha is dissolved. Blend in the honey and let cool to room temperature.
  • Pour into a tall glass or fun monster cup (although, I may be the only crazy person to collect these, lol), add the lime-flavored LaCroix Sparkling Water and stir to mix everything together. Drop in the lime ice cubes, and garnish with optional ghoulish goodies.
