Ice cream for breakfast? Not exactly—but this Breakfast Banana Split certainly brings the fun. A banana gets the full sundae treatment, turning an ordinary morning into a little celebration.

Ingredients
 

  • 1 banana, split lengthwise
  • ¼ cup vanilla low-fat Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons granola or muesli cereal*
  • Optional toppers: shredded coconut, dark chocolate chips, toasted pecans, sunflower, pumpkin and/or pomegranate seeds

  • Place the bananas cut side up on a plate. Top each half with yogurt and sprinkle on cereal. Add optional toppers.
