Ingredients
1slicewhole-grain toast
1Tablespoonpesto, jarred or my Classic Pesto
3 to 4tomato slices
¾ouncemozzarella cheese, thinly sliced
A few basil leaves, garnish
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400ºF.
Spread pesto on whole-grain toast and layer with sliced tomatoes, mozzarella cheese. Broil for a few minutes in oven until cheese gets melty. Top with extra pesto and basil leaves.
