- The choice of the winner of the bout. A tie is often settled at a single odds - i.e. a bet is refunded.
- The winner of a certain round.
- The duration of the bout - the total of rounds or the number of rounds when the encounter will end. If punchers fight, there is a big chance that the meeting will end early. However, if they are fighters who like to work on the ground, it's more likely that the total is greater.
- Whether the bout will go the maximum number of rounds, or be stopped early.
- Type of victory. How the fighter will win: by points, by knockout, by voluntary submission, by injury, or by disqualification.

Outcome of the fight
The possible outcomes of MMA fights are as follows:
- Knockout. In this situation, the athlete is rendered unconscious after a missed punch or body shot.
- Technical knockout. If the fighter is unable to continue the fight, he may be stopped by a third person (referee, coach, doctor).
- Voluntary Surrender. The fighter taps with an open palm or verbally declares a willingness to surrender, for example, after a choke.
- Referee's decision. At the end of the fight the points are counted.
- Disqualification. The referee may disqualify a fighter for prohibited punches or holds.
- The cancellation or declaration of the bout as void.
Types of strategies
The strategies used in mixed martial arts are identical to those used in betwiner. Conventionally they can be divided into 3 groups:
