Strawberry Daiquiris from mixes are typically packed with artificial colors, junk, and upwards of 80 grams of added sugar for 1 cup. My version incorporates a perfect mix of (naturally sweet) whole frozen fruit that deliver its signature flavor—plus fiber and antioxidants. Grab your mini umbrella and start sipping!

This recipe makes about 2 cups

2 cups fresh sliced strawberries
2 cups frozen sliced strawberries
1.5 oz rum
1 to 2 teaspoons sugar
3 to 5 ice cubes


In small bowl mix the sugar and fresh sliced strawberries (save the frozen strawberries for later step). Cover and refrigerate for about 20 to 30 minutes, or until strawberries begin to sweeten and release their natural juices.

Add the fresh strawberry and sugar mixture to blender with remaining ingredients. Puree until smooth.
