While I’m all about helping kids learn to love their veggies, sometimes “hiding” them in a treat they already love is the way to go. These refreshing pops get their sweetness (and they are sweet) naturally from bananas and berries. And while I snuck in some spinach for extra nutrition, believe it or not, you won’t even taste it. I’m confident because I tested these out on the pickiest of kids (and spouses), and they didn’t suspect a thing. The overwhelming response? Another ice pop please!

This recipe makes 7 servings
- • 1 ripe banana
- • 1½ cups fresh or frozen blueberries
- • ½ cup fresh or frozen sliced strawberries
- • ½ cup low-fat milk
- • 1 cup baby spinach leaves, loosely packed
Combine all ingredients in a blender and puree until completely mixed. Add a bit more milk if it’s too thick. Pour about ⅓ cup of the mixture into 7 ice pop molds, and freeze for at least 5 hours or overnight. Enjoy!
