Your family is going to flip for these sliders! They’re packed with good-for-you ingredients, plus satiating protein and fiber. Top each bite with a squirt of ketchup, lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickle slice — you’ll be in burger heaven. Yum!

This recipe makes 1 slider patty
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound ground turkey meat (at least 93% lean)
  • One 15-oz can black beans, rinsed, drained. Mashed as best you can with potato masher (no worries if some whole beans remain)
  • 1 egg lightly beaten
  • 3 tablespoons BBQ sauce
  • Optional 1/2 cup corn
Preparation:
Directions:
Mix everything together, shape into small patties (using about 2 tablespoons of mixture in each), and place on skillet that’s been liberally coated with oil spray. Sprinkle tops with kosher salt and cook for about five minutes. Mist tops with oil spray, flip (sprinkle new tops with salt, if you’d like), and cook for another 4-5 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165° F.
