When life leaves you frazzled, pour yourself a cup of this Orange-Chamomile Anxiet-TEA. This comforting beverage contains chamomile and orange, two ingredients that can help calm your nerves and tame tension. I like to pair this soothing brew with mini whole-grain sammies stuffed with hummus and thinly sliced cucumbers, because what else goes better with tea than tea sandwiches?!? Hummus, made with slow-burn chickpeas, is another tasty stress buster. Pinky up, stress down!

This recipe makes 1 serving
Ingredients:

• 1 to 2 slices fresh orange
• 1 chamomile tea bag

Preparation:

Place the chamomile tea bag in a cup. Pour the boiling water over the tea bag, ensuring it is fully submerged. Allow the tea to steep for about 5 to 7 minutes. The longer you steep, the stronger the flavor.

Once the tea has steeped, remove the tea bag. Squeeze the juice from the orange segment(s). Be sure to remove any seeds if present. You can sip it hot or add a few ice cubes for a chilled version.

Try these Orange Chamomile Blondies for more soothing yumminess.
